About Ethena (ENA)
Ethena (ENA) launched in February 2024, founded by Guy Young. Ethena issues USDe, a "synthetic dollar" stablecoin that maintains its $1 peg through delta-neutral hedging strategies — holding spot ETH and stETH while shorting equivalent amounts via perpetual futures. This allows USDe to scale without requiring traditional fiat reserves or excessive overcollateralization.
