About BNB (BNB)
BNB (originally "Binance Coin") was launched on July 25, 2017 by Changpeng "CZ" Zhao and Yi He as the utility token of the Binance exchange. Originally an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, BNB migrated to Binance Chain in April 2019 and now powers the BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain), an EVM-compatible Layer 1.
